Today, March 20th, is the first official day of spring in the northern hemisphere. This is called the Vernal Equinox, and is when the sun appears to cross the celestial equator. On this day, we are suppose to be gearing up for the warmer temps of spring, while people in the southern hemisphere are suppose to be getting ready for the cooler temps of autumn. Now I know the warmer temps are to come, because I have been teased by them here and there this past month. But you would think mother nature would work with us on the "official day" for the start of spring. You can barely see our BBQ pit on the right, and it is a good 2'6" tall. Got to love it! Luckily, the roads really aren't that bad.
I do this to remember these days that go by too quickly, so I, my family and friends, and one day my kiddos can take a stroll down memory lane.
