Linda's Semi-Homemade

For dinner tonight Steve and I had sloppy joes, asparagus, and peaches. The joes are my baby and the asparagus is Steve's baby.

Sloppy Joes: (This makes a lot! Yay for leftovers!)
2 lbs beef
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 large tomatoes, small wedged
2 cans sloppy joe sauce
1 package whole wheat buns

Brown beef. Add in peppers, onion and tomatoes. Saute until soft. Stir in sauce, and serve on buns.

Asparagus:
1 bundle fresh asparagus
Olive oil, enough to lightly coat asparagus
Garlic seasoning
Lawry's seasoned salt

Coat asparagus with oil. Place on baking sheet. Season to taste with Garlic and Lawry's seasoning. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 min.

Now to clean up and get ready for my Run! School starts tomorrow for me. We will have two professional development days, two days in our class rooms, and then the kids come. I am ready to get started, but nervous about balancing it all.
