Steve has three years left of school. When he is done he will have a bachelor's of sociology with a minor in history, a second bachelor's in landscape architecture, and a master's in environmental science. He then has to complete three years of work under a licensed landscape architect before he can take the exam to become licensed himself. So, it is kind of like a three year paid internship. We are hoping to move to the Dallas Fort Worth area when he is done, because this will put us close to both of our families...or closer anyway. Even though we both grew up a few hours away from this area we still do not know it very well.
This weekend we are going to visit some of our friends that live in Fort Worth, Nick and Alison, who recently bought a new house. I will also get to see Trey, Dom, and their baby Cheyenne as well as my grandparents (on my mom's side). We are going to go check out the Movie Tavern and some malls. This will expose us to this area a little more. Dom and I also plan on going for our long run together. It will be great to see old friends...I have known these guys since the sixth grade (Nick) and the ninth (Dom, Trey, and Alison). Post pics later.
